TED Thursday: An hilarious way of learning

*Apparently, the scheduled post option might not be working properly on the app… Here is last week TED Thursday post finally*

Every Thursday I will be choosing and posting a TED Talk that I think should be shared with you. I will not go at length about the benefits of it; they speak for themselves! Instead, I will provide you with the quick presentation blurb for it from TED Talk. You take it from here! This week, the TED Talk I choose to share with you is:

Comics that ask *what if*
with Randall Munroe

Web cartoonist Randall Munroe answers simple what-if questions (“what if you hit a baseball moving at the speed of light?”) using math, physics, logic and deadpan humor. In this charming talk, a reader’s question about Google’s data warehouse leads Munroe down a circuitous path to a hilariously over-detailed answer — in which, shhh, you might actually learn something.

I like his mind! I have been reading his webcomic “xkcd” for a while now… I was able to read his book “What if”  and my library also got “Thing Explainer” digitally a little while back. I am trying to get my hands on it still! He is clever and hilarious; it’s always a joy to learn with him!
